Heidi Cook, Owner/President
Heidi received her Certificate in Container Gardening from the Horticulture Gardening Institute in 2003 and developed a Container Gardening Workshop, at which students learn the basics of container gardening, and get to put together their own gorgeous pot of flowers. Liberty Street Gardens offers both on-site and drop-off container services to its clients.
She has taken more than 40 classes at the Michigan School of Gardening, dramtically increasing her knowledge in the areas of practical gardening, plant identification and garden design. She has also performed various administrative duties for the Michigan School of Gardening since 2003 and began teaching classes in 2004. Winters are spent doing special projects for both the Michigan School of Gardening and the Practical Gardening Institute (click here to see the PGI web site).
Heidi is an active member of the Association of Professional Gardeners and is the Technical Consultant to that organization.

Heidi became a Master Gardener in 2003, and acheived her Advanced Master Gardener certificate in 2006. She enjoys fulfilling her Master Gardener volunteer hours by providing gardening classes at both the Belle Isle Conservatory and the William M. Costick Activities Center in Farmington Hills, MI.
Heidi Cook has been gardening since 1990, and began her own professional gardening firm in 2002. She is the owner of Liberty Street Gardens, which performs a variety of maintenance, design and container services for residential and commercial properties in Farmington, Farmington Hills, Novi and West Bloomfield, MI.
