Fabulous Containers (ongoing interest)
Do you have a host of flowerpots waiting for some spring color? Liberty Street Gardens will plant unique arrangements, and change them four times a year, for continued use of your frost-resistant containers. Starting with the smiling faces of pansies in April, and ending with a holiday celebration in December, your containers will provide a fresh display, specific to the season, throughout the year. If you don’t already have frost-resistant containers, Liberty Street Gardens will be happy to assist in their purchase.
Fabulous Containers (spring, summer, fall)
Liberty Street Gardens will also be happy to provide wonderful floral displays in clay pots that will provide colorful cool season blooms in the early spring, continuous blooms throughout the summer months, and a great fall display. Pots that might crack if left outdoors during the winter will be emptied in November and carefully stored, before the cold weather takes its toll.
Perennial beds with a full season of bloom
Keeping your perennial beds tidy and providing you with color throughout the season will be Liberty Street Gardens goal. With your tastes and needs in mind, recommendations for enhancing the design of the bed will be made. Plants will be monitored for pests and diseases, as well as the possible need for division. Liberty Street Gardens will also create new beds, planted with perennials that are well suited to the type of soil and sun/shade conditions of the bed.
Unique small trees and shrubs
Shrubs and ornamental trees will be kept in excellent condition through proper pruning, pest management and application of appropriate nutrients. If necessary, Liberty Street Gardens will recommend replacement specimens that will enhance the beauty of the landscape.
Liberty Street Gardens will create a vegetable garden patch, if one does not already exist, and plant it with the family’s favorite varieties. Children are welcome to assist with the planting, weeding and harvesting duties.
